Inspiring Power Broker Roundtable to Be Held at 2016 REALTOR® Broker Summit

If you need another reason to attend the 2016® REALTOR Broker Summit, held June 9-10 in Denver, Colo., it’s the Power Broker Roundtable, where RISMedia President and CEO John Featherston will lead a panel of top brokers as they discuss their recruitment strategies, including advice for building a culture that attracts, supports and motivates top producers for long-term success.

The Power Broker Roundtable will feature several top brokers, including Fafie Moore, president of Realty Executives of Nevada; Chad Ochsner, broker of RE/MAX Alliance in Colorado; Peter Niederman, CEO/owner of Kentwood Real Estate; and Marilyn Eiland, general manager with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.

Fafie_Moore_85x100Fafie Moore is the president of Realty Executives of Nevada, repeatedly ranked the No. 1 woman-owned business in the Business Press Book of Lists, and repeatedly ranked in the Top 100 Real Estate Firms in the U.S. by RISMedia’s Power Broker Report for sales volume. Moore and her husband Jeff have been named Broker/Owner of the Year nine times by Realty Executives International. A real estate licensee since 1981, Moore is a certified relocation professional for the Employee Relocation Council, a certified residential specialist, Performance Management Network graduate, an accredited buyer representative designee and instructor, and certified residential broker. Moore is a 1995 graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Las Vegas program and served as 2008 chairman of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. She has held numerous local and state leadership positions with the Women’s Council of Realtors®, and has been named by In Business Newspaper as one of the 41 Most Influential Women in Las Vegas. She currently serves on the board of advisors for City National Bank in Las Vegas.

Chad_Ochsner_85x100Chad Ochsner is the current employing broker of RE/MAX Alliance in Colorado and a proud second generation REALTOR®. A Colorado native, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in real estate from Baylor University in 1995. He obtained his real estate license in 1997 and prior to joining the family brokerage business, worked in the title industry, mortgage industry, and as a commercial broker in Summit County. In 1999, Chad became a permanent fixture of the family business working through many positions of the company, including managing broker of Alliance’s Aurora, Parker, Arvada and Golden offices. Chad is a past director with the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, has served on the board of the REColorado (Denver MLS), the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®, the realtor.com Broker Advisory board, Trulia Broker Advisory board and past member of the Zillow Broker Advisory board. Ochsner is a joint venture mortgage partner with Stearns Lending – a co-owner of Home Mortgage Alliance. He has been ranked on the Swaenpoel list of the most powerful people in Real Estate in 2013, 2014 and 2015, and one of the 100 most influential real estate executives by Real Estate Executive magazine. He received the RE/MAX mountain states Broker/Owner of the Year award in 2005 and again in 2008.

Peter_Niederman_85x100Peter Niederman currently serves as the CEO/Owner of Kentwood Real Estate, which is comprised of three residential real estate offices (Downtown Denver, Cherry Creek and Denver Tech. Center), 200 sales professionals and annual sales of $2.4 Billion. Kentwood Real Estate is dedicated to its legacy of being “Colorado’s Premier Real Estate Company™” through one of the highest producing, most knowledgeable, caring and experienced sales team in the country, offering the highest quality customer service experience. Niederman has held various positions with the Denver Board of REALTORS®, serving as President in 1998, and spending six years on its board of directors. He has served on several other boards of directors, including the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, National Association REALTORS®, Stewart Title Guarantee Company and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In 1995, he was the recipient of the prestigious Denver Board of REALTORS®, President’s Distinguish Service Award. In 2000, was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Denver Board.

Marilyn_Eiland_85x100Marilyn Eiland joined Gary Greene REALTORS®, Better Homes and Gardens in 1980,as their training director. Over the years, she broadened her role and responsibilities with the company and ultimately became the general manager. In March 2000, Eiland and Mark Woodroof acquired Gary Greene REALTORS® and chose to affiliate with Prudential where they were recognized as Broker of the Year in 2011. In June of 2012, the firm reunited with their former franchise and became Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. The partners own 23 offices serving the greater Houston/Galveston area and representing over 1,000 agents. Eiland has served as a director for both the Houston Association of REALTORS® and the Texas Association of REALTORS®. In 1990 she served as president of the Texas CRB Council and was honored with Manager of Year in 1995. Eiland is also a member of Realty Alliance and The Vision Group. She has been a speaker on a national level, addressing state real estate associations on issues affecting the industry.
